After the website “opened his eyes” he then decided to read his bible….hmm? should it not have been the other way round Sir?
Women in Ministry….
“Structurally, we had women in pulpit roles. I saw from God’s word that this was an aberration – a clear deviation from Biblical teachings and examples.”
…after his experience with “this website” please listen to what changes he made in his church.

Now I have no intention in debating doctrine here with anyone, that is for yourself, your bible and the Holy Spirit ( Oops! Yomi does not hear from the HS anymore cos he is the new HS, thanks to the “website”)
Why I wrote this post is to say….
If the “Man of God” so loves the word of God and God’s children then he should remember we are one body, working together to bring Gods Kingdom down and show His grace, mercy and most of all Love.Why does he not send a letter, organise meetings and talk with his brothers/sister (Oops again, I forget women are not meant to preach the word of God)…. anyway his brothers and sit in love and the true edification of the body and “reason” together as the bible says.
Question for you? Tell us O! Righteous one, WHO are the people that preach the word of God according to you and “the website”
Show us the way, for we would not know if you do not tell us….

This is one of the primary reasons that I left Christianity about 5 years ago now. I just can’t stand all of the hypocrisy and fingerpoint – both in and out of the pulpit.

Do not let other ppl stop you from the love of the Father.
In every family sometimes brothers and sisters disagree, that should not cause separation and disharmony.
Get to know God the Father for yourself…Have a personal relationship with Him. A heart that desires and is hungry to know God will be answered and filled!

Angela, I have not read most of Yomi’s blog; I got there through a link sent to me by disgodkidd. For me, “Escape to Orthodoxy” rings true. These people have lied to many and I don’t think Yomi is trying to spread hate, I think he was hurt to discover the truth about some of these things. I agree also that all the people you have mentioned in your first paragraph, with the exception of about maybe 5 whom I have not gotten to know for myself, have some really dodgy doctrines.
I would suggest that you stop being sarcastic – perhaps a preacher you love was mentioned in one of Yomi’s posts. I say, be still before the LORD and ask Him to speak to you about His will. Study the scriptures day and night for before any of us know the Bible cover to cover, we do not know anything. And in this life, nobody can know the entire Bible from cover to cover. There is no finality to Christianity this side of eternity, one said.
The devil laughs when Christians nitpick at each other and waste time. Let Jesus Christ be your Focus. And please, this is to all Christians – READ THE BIBLE FOR YOURSELF. In so doing, you will be able to spot a fake more than a mile away; you will not go wrong. These squabbles make Christians a foul bunch of people to the world – no wonder nobody wants to get born again! “Those miserable Christians,” they call us. And most of all, discord smells foul to God.
Let me suggest to you what someone suggested when I wrote a blog entry about Creflo Dollar. Pray for these people. Where you do not agree or understand, just pray and wait on the LORD. Do not despise anyone, because if at the last day Yomi turns out to be right, you will have to eat all these words. Just be still before Jesus Christ and ask Him to show you the truth. He will not deny you any good thing.
“Tell us O righteous one,” and “Yomi is the new HS” is not right – we should speak to and about people as Jesus spoke to and about us. Regardless of your feelings about him and his blog, Jesus Christ loves Yomi with the same perfect love He has for you, Angie, and for me, and for Grace and Disgodkidd. So let us not look down on each other. None of us deserve heaven more than anyone else.

I do not despise him, I do love him, but disagree with him about his manner….
I am not here to defend any particular Ministry or Pastor; I just have a problem when a “family” matter is being constantly washed in public…when a member of my family is acting out of Our Father’s character…by pulling down others.
Like I said …there are ways of edifying the body. It’s all about Jesus not personalities…. There are something’s he says which are true, many have said already…it is his approach that leaves me disgusted!
I follow Jesus not any pastor…I am not of thoes that God forbid there Pastor or “Man of God falls” and they are in shock and lose faith…My faith is only in the Lord!
any dodgy doctrines, you have come across you neither confront the Pastor/Ministry directly or you pray that the truth be revealed to them.
Let God be God all by Himself….
I think I know the root of this stuff, it is part of the anti-apologetics message.
I read a lot of stuff on these matters and it almost turned my world topsy-turvy, in the end, I kept an open mind and rationalised, I can see the fruit of all these ministries and the owner of this site of “great truth” was running a house fellowship for years.
Like I read in Black Looks about Archbishop Desmond Tutu – Jesus said, If I be lifted up, I would draw ALL men onto me – a ministry that conveys essential and necessary truth cannot stagnate – you cannot hide the truth under a bushel – if people believe God enough for what they think is possible but others don’t, who is the blame for that?
This is not to justify or vindicate any ministry or doctrine, some might be in truth and some in error, the corrective work of the Holy Spirit should sort it all out for those who sincerely seek him.
Hireling ministers can only carry on for so long before the Great Minister intervenes. The poison of extreme doctrines is at work if either side persists in error or attacks.

Jesus Christ is Christianity ….. it is to be Christ – Like. It is a relationship, a way of life and not religion like some ppl make it out to be. It is plain religion and not relationship when ppl only go thru the motions and unfortunately a lot of ppl do it but that should not tarnish your experience …. seek out God in His Word and place yourself under the tutology of the Word in a faith based church. Just enjoy your Christian (Christ Like life to its fullest by taking advantage of the tools towards spiritual growth)
hmmmmmm …. while i don’t like to take part in controversy… i just have to comment. All I have to say is that i went to the website where he got his information from and it is not credible enough to revamp an entire ministry just because IMO. If God gave you a vision and you started your ministry based on it, stick with it ….. or would you then say God was lying to you in the first place when he gave you the calling and told you where to go with it? If you are even iffy about it, perhaps you should not be Pastoring brethren until you know what you are doing enough to do so for you shall give account of it before God. Might as well not start a ministry at all if you are going to be flaky about it and easily swayed….. you would be just as worse, if not more than those you are trying to criticize for going astray who have been credible enough to stand by their own and have sought/ continue to seek spiritual knowledge, wisdom and discernment through personal fellowship WITH GOD & HIS WORD itself, instead of flipping through one of many various websites on the internet.
Ignorance is bliss! This guy – Yomi whatever, does not deserve the attention you’re giving him. Some people are just beyond redemption…and he’s one of them, well, may be God can open his eyes.
Hi,been reading tru the comments,it’s really nice to kno that pple still lov God.I theresay that some or all of us have rightly shared our views.I want to enjoin us all to pls let the BIBLE,that’s God’s word be our standard.I personally have issues with a lot of the the happenings in our churches today but I always hesitate to publicly share my opinions lest the unbelieve take it upon themselve to use that as excuse to stay away from God.

In essence, it becomes imperative for christians

This finger pointing is a difficult topic. One always notices that no one ever bothers to point accusing fingers at strugging unkonwn Pastors. Don’t they deserve to be ‘put right?’. It is always the big names that get accused.
The Bible says to avoid – arguments, geneaologies & contentions as they serve to work up a sweat but never increase faith.
Accusers will never go away. Christ was accused of casting devils out by Beelzebub. He had to ‘yab’ them saying, ‘OK, I gree, but by who do your children cast out devils?’.

i have visited his website great stuff …we need people like him …too many thing are wrong with the church if we were like my illitrate aunt who couldnt read the bible we could be excused but we can read i feel this is time to reevaluate the things we do and why we do them ..in the name of Christ or..
